A data logger based on a 2U rack-mountable industrial PC that connects to the data source via an RS232 serial connection. The data logger simply takes the data from the input and stores it to local hard disk.

Can be configured for 1 up to 24 inputs ( within the 2U form-factor ) and can filter data ( per input ) according to your specification if required. Standard format for data storage is as plain text files organised in a hierarchical fashion. Data can be easily taken away for analysis e.g. by CD, USB drive, optional DVD or using an optional dial-in client via modem.
